OINP 2024 Highlights & What to Expect in 2025
Welcome to Precious Immigration Solutions!
My name is Hetal Khamar, and I’m here to provide you with a comprehensive overview of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) for 2024. Last year, the Federal Government allocated 21,500 nominations to the OINP across various streams. On December 23, OINP announced that they had fully distributed their 2024 nomination allocation. What to Expect in 2025
In November 2024, the Federal Government issued a Supplementary Immigration Levels Plan for 2025-2027, reducing the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) quotas significantly. Key figures include:
- 2025 Allocation for PNP: 55,000 nominations
- 2024-2026 Plan: Initially projected 120,000 PNP nominations
This reduction in allocations will likely result in fewer nominations for Ontario and other provinces in 2025. Applicants should plan accordingly and consider alternative pathways.
